The Victorian wreath is ot white flowers surmounted by mauve orchids with a white ribbon bearing the Victorian arms and the inscription: "With sincerest j sympathy from the people or Tasmania's is of arum a»d other lilies with the inscription: "With sympathy from his Majesty's devoted subjects in Tasmania/, . West Australia's is a shield ofvioletg, with lettering in mimosa: Wes--tern Australia mourns. Queensland sends a Maltese, cross of white flowers with a crown m the centre and an inscription in red flowers: "Queensland mourns.
