(FVom Our Own, Correspondent.) There are several farms in this district tha^haye changed hands lately. Mr J. Adams has leased his plafceto Mrp. McDonnell, of Hurleyville^ andf.Mr Gus- Nickel has sold to Mr Combine, of Awatuna. Mr and Mrs T. Foreman Hay e v returned from their trip^to Rotorua".' Mr Foreman is lopking better for the short rest. '' , .( , ■ ' - Painters have been busy painting the locel hotel and store. The .annual concert in aid of the library is to be, held on the 18th. The ladies are going to supply refreshments, and the arranging of the programme has been left in capital hands. The bachelors are having a meeting to arrange for their annual ball. The milk supply is falling rapidly ; since the Ist inst. Several suppliers are talking of taking their milk every other day. At the last monthly meeting it was resolved to make cheese through the winter months.
