MASTERTON, April 9. Kate Nelsen, boarding-house keeper, ■was charged at the S.M. Court this morning with selling liquor within a no-license area. The evidence showed the sale of a glass of whisky and a bottle of beer to one Peter Hyder, newspaper runner and chimney sweeper, who subsequently informed the police. A fine of £50 and costs was imposed.
