-iFonty of the late Charles Yerkes's pictures were sold at auction in New YoTk and realised £134,000 sterling. Duveen's purchase of Turner's picture "Rockets and Blue Lights" for £25,800 proved a record for the day's sale. Only one-fifth 'of the collection has yet been offered.
