A BIG SCHEME.
[PRESB ASSOCIATION.] (Received March 14, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 13. Thei London Water Board proposes 1 a scheme, which will cost sixty-two millions', to supply London till 1941 whem, four hundred- and twenty million gallons per day may bei required. The) scheme will provide thirty-five million- gallons per day for twelve millions 1 of people*. Thei new works will necessitate an intake! upon the Thames, above Staines.
