WELLINGTON, December 3. The secona wool sales in Wellington opened to-day, 11,050 bales being offered. There was a large attendance, and competition was keen. Competition for half bred and crossbred was exceedingly keen, coming from American buyers. Prices for partially skirted lots were not up to last sales. Crossbred and medium crossbred showed an advance. In halfbred some lots sold up to Is 3|d. Pieces from the same clip brought up to 9|d.
