AUCKLAND, July 21.

At the hearing of the dispute between the Slaughtermen's Union and the Waitara Freezing Works, Mr Grosvenor, representing the latter, protested against the Union representative having brought eight witnesses from Waitara, thereby closing down the works. Judge Sim said that if Mr Bust had called witnesses from Waitara he had no business to do so, as the Court had expressed its willingness to take evidence in New Plymouth if necessary. .
