SAFETY HELMETS.

LONDON, July 20. ' In the House of Commons, Mr R. McKemna (First, Lord of the Admiralty), replying to Mr A. N. Lee, said the submarines Cll and Cl 7 had improved safety helmets, enabling the crews to escape in the event of foundering. It -was impossible to supply all the submarines before, November.

Mr Lee stated that the helmets were promised in May of 1908.
