NAVAL DOCKS.

AUCKLAND DOCK TO BE SUBSIDISED. [press association.] LONDON, July 20. Mr Reginald McKennai (First Lord of the Admiralty), replying to Mr C. C, Craig, stated that £150,000 will be paid for a period of thirty years, at the rate of £5000 annually, to the i Auckland Harbor Board by way of subsidy to the Calliope) dry deck. This was granted with a view to getting the dock properly equipped. The only other subsidised dock is at Colombo.
