A BIG CONTRACT.
WANGANUI, April 15.
The holders of the Mephan-Ferguson locking bar steel pipe patent rights in the United States have secured the contract from the city of New York for six-feet diameter locking bar pipes requiring 20,000 tons of steel plates for their manufacture.
