LONDON, April 14.

The Conference of the Independent. Labor Party at Edinburgh provided a sensation. Messrs Keir-hardie, Philip Snowden, Ramsay Mac Donald, and X. Glasieir resigned their membership of the Administrative Council owing to the Conference adopting a rote of semi-sympathy with Mr Victor Grayson, and suggesting that the Council should end&avor to come to terms with Grayson.

A hot-tomperod debate ensued, and the conference begged thorn to reoon-

sider their decision. Mr Glasisr resigns the editorship of the Labor Leader.

Mr Blatchford and other irreconcilables, who object to the Council, dosire to work with tho Liberals.

On M6nday the conference, by 322 votes , to 64, agreed to a resolution (directed against Mr Victor Grayson, member for Colne Valley) that no salary be paid to members of the House of Commons refusing to sign the constitution of the party.
