Tpukhh ABsaciATioK "» (Received December 1, 1.42 p.m.) BRISBANE, December 1.

Interviewed, he said he Tegarded a penny rate impossible, if it was intended to produce sufficient revenue to cover interest and expenses. Otherwise it would require an enormous subsidy. He believed there was a possibility of the existing rates being considerably reduced; and would favor some reduction if on paying lines. He hoped to see "wireless" , extended to the islands of the Pacific.
