Cattle.— At Douglas, on Monday, I. had a very big yafcding of both aheep and cattle, and several lines being advertised for unreserved sale assisted in .'attracting a good many buyers. Bidding was fairly brisk, and the majority of lines were quitted at prices in favor of buyers. Weaners made 6s 6d to 14s, 12 to 18month eteera 26s to 295, 2-year do. 35s to 50s, 2i to 3-year, do. .JB3, 3s to Ifi3 Bs, fat bullocks £6 6s, store cows 26s to 30s, old do. -17s, forward cows, £3 15s, 18month heifers 255/- 2-tooth ewes 9s Id, f.m. ewes 5s 7d to^ss 9d, shorn lambs 5s Id to 5s Bd, woolly do. 7s 7d. At Stratford, on Tuesday, there was a good yarding and attendance, but bidding dragged and 'prices showed little alteration.
