BAND CONCERT.

(From Our Own Correspondent.,

This fixture took place on Thursday evening. There was a fair attendance. The band prior to the commencement of the entertainment rendered several items in front of the hall. Mr W. Swadling presided, and during the evening thanked the performers and those present for attending. Among the performers were Misses Rutland and Pyke, Dr Maclagan, Messrs Bennie, Walter, Lonergan, Brotheridge, Woods, Phillips, D. Patterson, M. Cleff. Miss Pyke and Dr Maclagan were pianists, and Mr W. Swadling gave phonograph selections. The band also gave selections.
