AUDACIOUS FAREWELL TO AMERICAN MANAGER ON THE STAGE. Miss Marie Lloyd, whose performance fox months past have formed' one of the most attractive features of American vaudeville, took a humorous and) characteristically audacious farewell of New York. ' At the oomclueion of her act, which/ as usual, was greeted with thunderous applause, Mr Percy Williams, proprietor of the Alhambra, the Colonial, and a number oi other theatres, appeared on the stage aiwl presented: the popular British comedienne with a loving cup inscribed, "To Marie Lloyd, the greatest artiste and best fellow that, ever came over the pond." Mr Williams assured the audience that it was the first time he had ever ventured to appear in public on his own stage.
