According to this, a cow giving a Teturn of £8 ior 12 months' milk under hand-milking, would, when milked by the "HaTtnett" milkers, return £9 10s, «.n extra profit of £1 10s per cow, besides -bout 50 per cant saving in working expenses. This is solid proof of the great superiority of machine over band-milking, a_d Bhows the necessity for all up-to-date farmers who wish to make a success of dairying to lay aside the old methods and drudgery of hand-milking, and go in for the more up-to-date scientific methods of machinemilking.
