WRONGFUL EXTRACTION OF 1 TEETH.
(.PRESS ASSOCIATION."? * ASHBURTON, September 6. Judgment . was delivered to-day in the case Alice Mary Voye v. A. L. Zouch, dentist, a claim for £100 for wrongful extraction of two teeth. Plaintiff is a girl between six and seven years of age. She was taken to Zouch's surgery to get two milk teeth extracted, so that two permanent teeth (incisors) would have room to grow. The two permanent teeth were extracted instead of the milk teeth. Judgment was given for £50 and costs. Application has been made for a rehearing.
EXTRAORDINARY AFFILIATION CASE.
MASTERTON, September 6. . An affiliation case which has been before the Court for some weeks past and repeatedly adjourned in order to obtain additional evidence on defendant's behalf, was finally dealt with today. The Magistrate characterised it as one of the most extraordinary cases he "had known. He came to the conclusion that it was clearly a case of mistaken identity, and dismissed the information with costs against plaintiff.
