Messrs Abraham and Williams, Limited, report on the Palmerston sale as follows : _ At Palmerston on Thursday we had a good yarding of both sheep aJid cattle. Buyersi were pnesent for all classes and a good clearance resulted. Quotations : Forward wethers 20s Id, ewes and lambs 21s, fat ewes 16s 9d and 17s 9d and 18s 7d, hoggets 14s sd, 14s lOd, 15s, 15s 3d to 16s 4d, store wethers lfe 6d to 16s 7d, store ewes Us, aged ewes in lamb lls 6d to 15s 3d, 3 a«id> 4-year bullocks £5 17s 6d to £6 ss, 18-month aaid 2-yeasr steers £2 18s, yearling etaers £2 2s, 2 and. 3-year. Iheifers in calf £2 6s, good springing heifers £4 4s, fat cows £4 to £6 15s, 18-momth heifers 30s, store cows 30s to £2 4s, weaneT heifers 16s to 225.
