PARLIAMENT

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. WELLINGTON, Sept. 3. The Council met at 2.30. The Attorney-General moved that the Council place on record its high sense of the services rendered by the late Hon. Mr Johnston, and its expression of sympathy with the relatives. The Council rose at 4 p.m. out of respect to the memory of deceased.
