THE MILKING MACHINE}. We offer a word of warning *ti> prospective purcha?CT6 of milling machines who ar3 inclined to hold off in anticipation of so-called improved' machines being placed on the market. The experience in the past has always oeem tiha-t these anticipations are never realised. There are dozens of dairy farmers to-day who wjll tell you that last seafion they lost, in labor • alone, the price of a "Lawrence-Kennedy-Gillies" Milker Plant, through waiting for other improved (?) machines. Pon't be misled by flaehly worded advertisements and, like the dog in. the fable, lose the substance while trying to grasp the shadow that looks biggeT. The "L.K.G." is the only tried and proven machine, having been in practical use mow for over five years, and don't you forget it. For hill particulars apply to J. B. MacEwan and Co., Ltd., Egmont street, New Plymouth.
