I OWING to the impossibility of securing a suitable site for a Technical University, it has now been decided to erect a^Public Monument in Wellington to the memory of ihe late Right Hon. R. J. Seddon.The monument is intended to be a National Memorial, and it is hoped that the inhabitants of Hawera and its neighborhood wiil heartily support the movement. Subscriptions in any sums from one shilling upwards will be gladly received and duly acknowledged. Holiday Excursion Tickets, available for return till 15th March will be issued to Stratford on 13th March, and by morning train on 14th March from Wanganui and intermediate stations. These tickets will not be available by the mail trains. -
