ACCUSED MAX CONFESSES.

[PRESS ASSOCIATION.! I AUCKLAND, March 4. Christie, one of those accused of the' Navua robbery, made a full confession. ' He stated that of the £1000 stolen some £558 was spent on jewellery, part of which is now in the possession ol the police. Manning, another of the accused, has been shown the confession, and confirmed it. At first they intended to plead guilty,

but Manning altered his mind, and counsel announced that he would for the present plead not guilty.
