THE CALLIOPE DOCK ACCIDENT. [PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, February 16. Messrs Bell, Gully and Myers have issued a writ for £15,000 on behalf of the Shaw, Savi]l and Albion Co., against the Auckland Harbor Board, in connection with the-CalJiiope dock accident. Writs* are also being issued on behalf of the men injured and their families. _______ i FATAJ, ACCIDENT. WELLINGTON, February 16. A man named) W. C. Creamer, employed) as head gardener for Mr John Duithie ait the Lower Hutt, yesterday received/ fatal' injuries by getting entangled in some belting attached to' an oil engine nsed for pumping water. When Creamer was diecovered'. he 1 was lying in an unjconscdous Bfcafce on the floor of the engine-house, and he never regained consciousness, end died about- 5 o'clock this morning. Deceased "was a single man about 34 years of age. TTtr. people live at Auckland, but he formerly resided at Wanganui. NAUTICAL COURT. AUCKLAND, February 16. The Naiutical Court has found that the wreck of the Awarua was not due to unskilful or negligent navigation.
