SALES- ELSEWHERE.
BLENHEIM, February 13. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report: —Good stores and fats sold on a par with late values. Aged and broken-mouthed ewes were, however, slow of sale, but all offered were quitted for shipment for the North Island. Lambs were almost unsaleable. Prices ruling to-day wtere as follows: —Fat wethers 13s 6d, fat ewes 10s to lls 6d, two-tooth half and three-quarter-bred ewes, to 12s 4d, cull ewes (sound-mouthed) 3s 9d to 4s Id, ditto | (broken-mouthed) 2s 2d to 2s Bd, rape lambs (a. good line) 6s 9d. MASTERTON. February 13. Dalgety and Co. report:—At our Masterton sale to-day over 5000 sheep were yarded. There was a large attendance of buyers. Owing to the diy -weather bidding was slack for inferior stock, though there was good demand' for all others, and almost all the lines of sheep were- sold. Them was no enquiry for cattle. Best shorn rape lambs 9s 7d to 9s lOd, culls to 6s, best ewes to 14s sd, medium to 9s 6d, culls to Bs, 2-tooth wethers to 14s, fat ewes 14s 3d, fat cows £6.
