GAMBLERS EXPELLED FROM FRANCE.

PARIS, January 7.

Forty professional gamblers, mostly Belgians, including Marguet, formerly a waiter at Ostend, and the joint owners of several clubs in Paris, have been expelled from the country.

It is estimated their gains amounted to a million sterling per annum.

The clubs were started -under the Association Law, without police supervision.

Many society women are among their victims.
