A DISABLED COLLIER.

WESTPORT, July 9. The Union Company's collier, s.s. Kiui, bound from Wellington Greymouth. was picked up about six miles from Westport on Saturday night by the same company's s.s. Koonya, and towed up to the roadstead this morning, but owing to the fresh in the river was left at anchor tihere. At the time of the mishap a huge sea was running with a hard gale and furious squalls, and the getting of the lines aboard and the consequent towage were matters of considerable difficulty, but were accomplished successfuly.
