AN IRISH LIFE ROMANCE.
From BaUynaMnoh, a district of County Down, cornea a remarkable romance of leal life^ — a daughter lost as a little child lieing restored to .her mother after nine long yeaars. Susan Kerr, a girl about 13 or 14 years of age, who was employed by a farmer in the neighborhood, went into liallynahinch recently to obtain some hemstitching or fancy work from a local agent. ta take back to her employer's resident*, fchie seemed, however, reluctant to depart from fclw town, and after lingering about awhile, eventually handed back the work to the .. agent, and went round several houses asking t3w residents to receive h<*r A woman to wibom tibe girl applied took her in land .Taadeeuquiries as to her name and parentage, when the story of the mysterious diaappearanoa of a. little girl about nine years ago camae to the ques.tioner's recollection.
It appears that wihien three years of age the little one vanished, the mother, Mrs Kerr, v of Belfast, having since been in ignorance of her whereabouts. When the girl TeJartied her history to "her hostess in Baltynahinch, she immediately communicated with, the -mother. The parent went down by the first train, and was overjoyed to recognise her long-lost daughter, Whom she took home with her. /-**" Regarding the girl's movements during th<» intervening time there is at present little definite- information, but it is alleged that she was taken to Belfast and afterwards to Downpatrick, being eventually engaged in work with the farmer referred to.
