ST. PETERSBURG, A uay 1. The Chief of Police at Lzenstochowa, Poland, was maimed by the explosion of a bomb. The chief gendarme of Lubin, Poland, and a police officer at Odessa, have been murdered. The assassins escaped.

It is reported at St. Petersburg that a disciplinary battalion at Sevastopol destroyed the military prison and released 35 of the ringleaders in the- mutiny of 1905.
