ONLY TWO NATIVES SAVED. AUCKLAND, April 12. The schooner Tahitienne, commanded' by Captain George De-xtea*, is lost. Captain Dexter remained for two days on, a raft, before sinking in the waves, and Mr j Sheves remained one day on another raft. The two men that were saved were five days on. the Taffc before being able to land |on an island. They say that numbers of ! big slia-rks followed the wreck, and the j captain and second mate were eaten by j them as! soon as they fell into the water.
