Nominations for handicaps Nos. 3, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 20, 22, 23, 25, with the necessary fee and all performances for the previous 12 months, if not any within thattime, the last three performances in each event to be given, will close with the Secretary at the Masonic Hall, on THURSDAY, January 25 "at 8.30 p.m. Handicaps will be declared on or about Thursday, February 1. Acceptances and all po6t entries close on the ground on day of sports at 11.30 a.m. sharp. Winners, after the declaration of handicaps, may be rehandicapped. ' A full knowledge of the rules is expected from every competitor. Sports commence at 12 noon sha.rp. The Rules of the Taranaki Athletic and Caledonian Association will be strictly adhered to and may be obtained from the Secretary.
