SYDNEY, January 25.
The heat m the country is terrific. Bush fires are still raging in the Condobolin district.
Great damage has been, done at Hallinga station, which lost twenty thousand acres of grass.
A father and two sons, going for assistance to the neighbors, rode for their lives ahead of a wall of fire for seven miles. They found a tank and took refuge in the water for five hours.
Two girls, the eldest of whom 1& 13, have been arrested for starting this fire. The parents have also been arrested for aiding and abetting their children-.
