At Waipukurau on Tuesday tUere was a large yarding of cattle, but only one pen of sheep came forward. The bulk of the yarding was cleared at figures slightly easier than recent sales. Quotations : — Fat shorn wethers 13s Id. Fat heifers £5 3s 6d'to~£s*ss 6d, forward heifers £4 8s 6d, forward bullocks £5 to £5 ss, store three-year bullocks £4 to £4 53. two-year heifers" £3 to £3 ss, yearling to 18 months heifers £2 2s 6d to £2 10s.
