RUFFIANS ATTACK THE REVOLUTIONISTS.
OPEN WAR IN MOSCOW
(Received November 5, 4.55 p.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, November 4. There is open war at Moscow between the revolutionaries and a black gang of Tuffians organised by the Monarchists in the interests of autocracy. Some 600 of the gang lay in wait for the procession returning from Baumann's funeral, killing 12 and wounding 23. The authorities profess to be unable io control these loyalists. A similar gang, at Tver, armed and paid by the police, exercise complete license. The statement that the strike is to be suspended for a month is not confirmed. It is expected the strike committee will makft ai.Ti explanation on Monday, when details of the amnesty will be known.
