LONDON, October 25.

In his annual statement E. A. Cornwall, Chairman of the London County Council, showed that the debt of the County Council amounted to £44,620,266, including 11£ millions taken over from the late School Board, also 5£ millions in respect to remunerative purposes not involving burden on the rates. The annual municipal expenditure of London is 19£ millions, fourfold that of Denmark.
