(Uy Tele-graph.— Special to St.vii.) PATEA, June 12. The Patca seniors defeated Okaiawa seniors by six points (two tries) to nil. The giimo was a very good exposition of football. The visitors were the heavier team forward, but the Patca backs more tlian compensated for this. The first spell was of an even nature, the game being open and very fast. C. Sheehan scored lho fiist try by a clever feinting run. In tho second spell Patea. had the best of the game, Okaiawa forwards appearing to gel tired, xi. Hamcrton scored a try for Patea. 0. Burke, G. Shcehan and Beamish (backs), T. Shoehan and Jlamerton (for-Wti-rds) were. the. most prominent., whilst, for Okaiawa. O'Sullivan in the forwards and Carroll and Johnston in the backs were the best.
