HOTEL BURNT DOWN.
DUNEDIN, March 18.
Tho Empire Hotel, at Palmerston, was destroyed by fire at 2 o'clock this morning. All the inmates got out safely but little or nothing was saved. A fire occurred on the premises last night by a kerosene lamp upsetting, but it was got unaer ana everything appearing safe me inmates retired to bed.
