Tho verdict' in the Neva Blessing incident, when the Czar's party was fired upon, was "neglect of duty through failure to supervise the firing." Though there was an absence of malicious , intent three officers were sentenced to 14 years' imprisonment, and two lieutenant gunners to shorter terms.
