FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO.'S
STOCK REPORT.
At Wanganui sale' on Wednesday last we had a large entry of sheep, several pens of cattle, and a heavy yarding of pigs to offer. The attendance was good and bidding fairly brisk. Lambs an old ewes were somewhat easier, but good quality breeding pens and young sheep maintain their values. We sold all the sheep penned, except one line of ewes. Cattle were very little in demand, and pigs sold somewhat easier than at lai* sales.
At Waverley on Friday we had a heavy yarding, principally sheep, on the whol° of good quality. Bidding was fairly free throughout, good sound 2-tooth sheep an 1 bush wethers selling well ; in fact, all other classes except lambs made then values. We; however, quitted all entered, except two small lines of ewes. Lincoln rams sold readily and cattle sold in buyers' favor.
