Competitors in district events must be bona fide residents of the district from let January, 1905. RULES AND CONDITIONS. The sports will be conducted under the rules of the Taranaki Athletic and Caledonian Association; a full knowledge of tho Rules will be. expected from every competitor. Nominations for all events (except those marked post entry), together with fees and performances for the last two years, close with the Secretary, on THURSDAY, MARCH 9, at 9 p.m. Acceptances close at 11 a.m. on day of sports. All nominations must be sent to tho Secretary, nnd must be accompanied with the necessary fee. This rule strictly enforced. For event No. 14, nomination papers must be accompanied by fee, name in full, age, and date last birthday, name of school, and be certified to by tho respective schoolmasters. Cycling competitors must state weight, gear, and make of machine. Three starters or no race. Four starters or no second prize. Six starters or no third prize. All competitors must appear in approved costume. First event will commence at II a.m. sharp. All protests must bo lodged with the Secretary, in writing, within ten minutes of the Judge's decision, accompanied with a fee of 10s, which will bo forfeited if protest be not sustained. The committee may postpone the meeting from time to time if they think fit, and tho programme will be subject to alteration. Admission to Course, Is; Children, 6d. Band in attendance.
