At the annual meeting of the Australian Lawn Tennis Association, owing to the temporary deadlock with New Zealand and the absence of advice from Tasmania and Western Australia- respecting aSliation in the case of New Zealand, objection was taken by that Association owing to certain rules. The meeting held that that body did not quite nndersWd the meaning of the rules, and an explanatory letter will be sent.
