The meeting called fo*- Friday evening was not held. It was decided to wait till Tuesday nex^ sa that a larger and more repreaen.tative attendance may be secured. Those members present discussed informally the result of the Bub-con#»ifttee'a efforts, and all agreed that osospects were very promising. As soar, as a ground* man has been secuted, the. work of preparing the ground will be pushed on vigorously. All who intend joining may rest assured' that good wickets will b* prepared, apd that cricket will be played under better conditions than, have prevailed for some years past.
