THE AMERICAN THEATRESCOPE.
The public are reminded that to -night the above company make their appearance at the Opera House for one night only. They have had most successful seasons at Dunedin, Christchurch, and Wellington. The management report that at the Princess Theatre, Dunedin, people were turned away_ nightly, and the press were loud in their praise of the show. The Wanganui Herald, speaking of the show, says : — "It is the finest entertainment of its class, that has ever been submitted to a critical Wanganui audience, and we have the utmost confidence in recommending it as a first-class show to all theatregoers." A powerful electric light will be installed in order to show the largest picture ever exhibited in New Zealand. Included in to-night's programme will be the "Bluel)eard x antomime," occupying 1400 feet of film, and showing all the gorgeous pantomime as it is played at the Drury Lane Theatre. London. The opportunity of witnessing the performance should not be missed.
