LANE, Secretary. HAWERA COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER FOR MAKING I AND LEVYING A SPECIAL RATE. TTTHEREAS at a Special MeetV \ ing of the Council held on Saturday, 20th August, 1904, a resolution to the following effect was ( passed, viz. : — j That in pursuance and exercise ' of the powers vested in it in that behalf by " The Local 1 Bodies Loans Act, 1901," and the amendments thereof, the Hawera County Council , hereby resolves as follows :—: — • That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges ( on a loan of £ 1650 authorised to bs raised by tbe Hawera County Council tinder the above-mentioned Act for re-building or building certain bridges in the 1 Mangatoki Riding, the Hawera County Council hereby makes and levies a bpecial Rate of one-sixteenth of a penny in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable, or hereafter to become rateable, property of the Mangatoki Riding of the Hawera County, and that such Special Rate shall be an annualrecurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 15th day of October in each ■. and every year during the currency ot such loan, being a period of 41 years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that the interest to be paid is at the rate of 4% per annum. Notice is hereby given that the said resolution will be confirmed at a meeting of the Council to be held on Saturday, 15th October, 1904, at 11 a.m., and thereupon the I Special Order shall take effect.
