Mombers of tho Third and Sixth Contingento will regret to hear^ of the death of their old conwado, A. Norton C. McGonagle, at Braamfontein, JohannMburg. Deceased was employed in the C.S.A.K., Chief Accountants Department, Jol»»noiiburn. He was a member of tho C.S.A.Iv. Volunteer Medical Staff, and having also served during tho late war, tho body was interred with military honors, Tho deceased died from injuries, tho result of an accidental fall sustained in a toot ball match on August 6th. He was the oldest son of Mr Robert McGonagle, Scargil, of the Publio Works Department, and brother of Mr C. G. McGonagle, of tho local railway staff. Ho wont to South Africa during the war, when he first served with the Third Now Zealand Contingent. Ho came back to his home with that contingent, and returned to South Africa with .the Sixth New Zoalandors. The corn-go was headed by tho Polico Band and tho C.S.A.R. Volunteers.
