POPE AND RULERS.
ROME, May 5. The Pope has protested against President Louuct visiting King Emanucl at Homo without calling at the Vatican, thereby recognising a tfsurper. It ' is believed that the protest is intended to warn . the Emperor of Austria that if he intends to visit ho must not visit the King without previously calling at the Vatican.
