At Burnside to-day 135 fat cattle were yarded, including a good number of }>rime. The sale opened somewhat quiety, but improved as" it went on. Values were quite equal to recent sales. Best bullocks, £11 to £11 12s 6d; medium, £9 to £10 10s; .lighter sorts, but good t\eef. £7- 10s to £8 5s ,♦ heifers, £7 10s to £8 10s; cows, £6 to £8. Fat Sheep. — 1100. Wethers were in short supply, and prices showed improvement on last week's values. Ewes, with the exception of a few pens, were not up to the usual quality, and were quite Is per head dearer. Best wethers 18s «)d to 19s 9d, medium" 16s 6d to 17s 6d, lighter, weights 14s. 6d to 15s 6d, extra weight, ewes up to 21s, others 16s to 173, inferior 10s to 13s. Lambs. — 838. Best realised up to 15s Qd, medium 14s to 14s 6d, light, and inferior 9s to 11s 6d. Pigs. — 70' of all sorts penned.
