WEDDING.

Another wedding was celebrated in the English Church at 8.30 a.m. on Tuesday,; when Mr Geo: Harper, of Rongofcea. was ! married to Miss Annie Goodland, daughter j of Mr W. Gpodlahd.of the Boylan Road. J The bride was nicely dressed in a pale { blue figured delaine, with veil and' orange , blossom, and was attended by her mother, j who gave her away. The bride carried a beautifully arranged bouquet, the gift of Mrs Batten. Mr Gifford acted as" best man. Miss N. Goodland, bridesmaid; was drossed in -white, and looked very nice. She also carried a very choice bouquet. The Rev, Jacob officiated, and at the conclusion of the service delivered a short yet impressive address to the newly-mar-ried couple. The church. was nicely decorated, and there was a large gathering of friends present to witness the ceremony. • Miss Harper ably presided at the organ. After leaving the murch the happy conplr drove to the Normanby station, taking the mail to Palmerston North, where the honeymoon is to be sp-^nt. Friends and well-wishers were greatly in evidence with bountiful showers of rice' as the train left' the station. The Normanby residents wish them happiness and prosperity.
