Cattle.— At Rahotu on Friday, the sth inst., there was a good muster of stock, in spite of the morning being, so wet. There was a good attendance . and bidding for most Jines was brisk, and nearly everything sold at satisfactory prices. Mixed yearlings made 45s to 545, empty heifers £3 2s (5d to £4, 12 to 15 months steers £3 3s to £3 6s, springing heifers £5 to £5 10s, store cows £3 15s to £4 Is, forward do. £4 14s to £5, fat do. £6 i 10s, fat sheep 10s 6d. At Waiwakaiho on Tuesday cattlecame forward far in excess of advertised numbers, the muster being^ the largest and the sale the best for many months. Competition was keen for nearly all classes, and almost every pen was sold at the hammer. • All young cattle met with good enquiry, .and store cows sold especially well. . Weaners made 15s to 31s, calves 36s 6d to 41s 6d, yearlings 46s 6d to 525, 18 »ontbs steers £3 14s, empty heifers £3 3s to £4 2s, springing, do. £5 19s 6d to £6 7s 6d, store cows £3 18s 6d to £4 ss, fresh do., £4 lla to £4 17s 6d, fat do., ,£5 10s to £6 10s. At Whangamona on Tuesday I held my second sale this season. There was an excellent muster of stock, good attendance of buyers, and everything passed off mosj) successfully, everything being sold at satisfactory prices. Twelve to fifteen months steers made £3 4s to £3 ss, 2 to 2£ years do. £4 10s to £4 17s 6d, 2£ to 3 year do. £5 4s to £5 15s, empty heifers £3 4s to fA ds. „
