THE CORONATION.
Received August 15, 9.3 a.m. London, August 14.
The King received the Indian troops Bimiliarly to the colonials, and also made a felicitous speech, the Prince of Wales presenting Coronation medals.
It is understood the Kiug, in inviting Boer generals aboard his yacht, desires to assure the Boers, through their acknowledged leaders, that he is deeply interested in their welfare, and wishful that they should co-operate with their fellow subjects in upholding the honour of the Empire.
At Colonel Cameron's request, the Abbey authorities have arranged special services for the colonial contingents on Sunday.
Mr Seddon is indignant that administrative economy should have indirectly sacrificed lives by the Drayton Grange and Britannic.
