FEILDING STOCK MARKET.
FEHiDiNa, February 26. The N.Z.L. & M.A. Co. report: At the Feilding sale, on Friday, 21st inst., we had a large muster of both cattle and sheep, and the attendance was over the average. Wethers were difficult to quit. Good sound mouth breeding ewes were in good demand. A line of over 300 good mixed aged Romney ewes realised 12s lid, also a good line of Lincoln.ewes 10s sd. There was a little better demand for good lambs. All classes of cattle were dearer. We quote: Cattle— Fat cows, L4to L 5; yrarhngs, LI s*' to L 2; weaners, LI to LI 9s ; 18 month steers, L2ssto L 2 18s ; 2 year heifers in calf, L 3 103 to L 3 17s 3d. Sheep : Wethers, 8s 3d to 10s ; lambs, 2s to 6s 9d; good mixed aged breeding ewes,: 8s 3d to 12a lid ; 2 tooth ewes, 7s to 9s 6d ; fat ewes, BsJ|lld to 9s sd ; forward ewes, 7s lid to 8s 8d ; cull ewes, ss.
